BorderlineThe USA Mexico Borderline is an artificial boundary, drawn with little consideration for the natural landscape or the migratory patterns of the Indigenous Peoples who inhabited the region long before it was drawn up. This politically constructed line, has long been weaponized against migration. Today, it is largely perceived through the distorted and selectively tinted lenses of nationalist politics.
These reinterpreted distortions of Ansel Adams’ vision of the American West are colored with the unfiltered human diversity of the American experiment, a liberty that has defined the nation since it’s founding.
